Out of the box is where I live

I watched a terrible movie starring Scott Porter (and Alexis Bledel, it's called "The Good Guy"). I thought it was gonna be an average romcom to distract me and noooo it was awful. So after that I needed to erase it from my brain so I decided to watch a bit of FNL and now I've started a rewatch I think (my 1st rewatch of the show). I watched the 2 first episodes and I remembered how I didn't love them because of all the religious stuff. But now that I've seen all the show and am attached to the characters it was ok. And I got more emotional this 2nd time around lol, especially the 2 scenes Coach Taylor has with his QBs in the 2nd episode. Which reminds me... this skit's awesome, The Friday Night Lights Crying Method. I'm gonna miss this show so much when it's gone. :(

My mom had asked my sister-in-law to buy garlic for her (in a farm near her vacation spot or sth) and she joked that it would make vampires go away. So I told her there was no need as you just need not to invite them in. This is where the garlic is now lol.

Jed Whedon's album is awesome.

I've finished season 1 of The Good Wife. Excellent show.

I might have read too many Deathly Hallows movie spoilers. Oh well.

I've seen one of the remaining episodes of Better Off Ted. Still very sad this show's canceled. :( I can't remember where I saw this but someone somewhere said they'd like Phil and Lem to be Rachel's dads on Glee and now I want it to happen!

I wrote this for themiddleearth because that's the only type of creative writing challenge I do: silly crossovers. It's no beta-ed so it's probably full of English mistakes and all (especially in descriptions, I only enjoy writing dialogue) but it's not like I wanna do anything with it. I'm also pretty new to the Warehouse 13 fandom so I'm not sure I got the characters voices right but hey, this got me 51 pts for my team. But I like to keep everything I do archived somewhere.

Can't remember if I mentioned this here but I landed a 2nd itw for a job! (the one from last week) Itw is next Wednesday. I guess my "spontaneous cover letter" was good enough!

Have started reading the Sookie Stackhouse books. Sometimes listening to the audiobooks instead. A woman narrates the story and her Bill & Sam voices are hilarious (to me). Also, this quote:

"Eric is much better looking than I am," Bill said. "He is more powerful, and I understand sex with him is unforgettable."

LOL!

I've joined yet another whedonland-like community! It's himymland and it's focused on - wait for it - How I Met Your Mother! I bet you didn't see that coming, right? lol So please join the fun! I landed in Team Lily&Marshall.

I had other things to write about and forgot. I'm busy writing fic for the fic fest at whedonland. One is done (Better Off Ted fic!), two to go! One of these is a unlikely crossover with (so far) 3 references to 3 other shows lol.

Oh I know, I'm watching Merlin. It's fun. It makes me say things like "Hey, King Giles, shouldn't you be doing the research about spells instead of letting Gaius do it?" And of course in my mind the only Gaius is Baltar. The next episode I'm watching has Santiago Cabrera, and I knew he was in it, but I didn't know he was playing Lancelot! I find this hilarious for a reason.

Glee is back (for real) tonight!!! Fall season is starting at least!!! yay!!!

RL update
Got negative answers for both last week's job itws. yay. Hello square one, how have you been?

TV
- It's so weird not having a to-download schedule lol. Instead of taking this opportunity to catch up on TV or finally starting highly-recommended shows, I'm rewatching ER from the beginning. WTF self?
- And instead of making my entry for dollhouse_lims, I made GLEE icons (see icon I'm using).
- This speculation about sth shown at ABC's upfronts (=possible LOST spoiler, if true I'd say it's big) makes me happy but I don't want to get my hopes up.
- The TV Gods LOVE me this year. Maybe they want to make up for all the FAIL I had to go through before? EVERYTHING I watch is renewed (the exception being Pushing Daisies, but it's 2008 news). EVERYTHING. Even one show I love but didn't want to see renewed as the finale was awesome and I had closure (Scrubs). My only loss is the shows whose ending was programmed (BSG, ER).
