long time no meme...
Aug. 27th, 2010 11:43 amI posted icons, for the 1st time in... 9 months. Mostly shows I needed icons for and couldn't find any I liked lol. And some Lost icons I'd been sitting on for months.
Sean Harry just announced that EJO will be a guest at Invasion next year. Duuuude. Just as I was thinking "um, not that excited about this one, not enough BSG guests." Now that's 2 I've never met + 1 from Caprica + Clea Duvall who was on everything ever. So I'm thinking Echo-2 + Invasion next year. I'd really like to go to Basauricon 2.0 in Spain too because helloooo Katee+Trucco. Is it 2011 yet? 2010 is a bit boring for me :(
So yeah, still need a job like woah. I got an email a few days ago from a company saying they wanted to talk to me on the phone following my application and they sent me really detailed information about the company and the job. So I emailed back saying I was still very interested and was available all days this week and the next and gave my landline number so that we could arrange a time and date for the phone itw. But still no news now! Frustrating. It's actually a job that's really not in my usual area (which is food industry) but still in marketing and it sounds interesting.

I didn't edit the HD and ABC logos out because UGH there are like, 30 to 45 frames in each of these so imagine the time it'd take.
I'm amused by everyone's Halloween pics, and the cutest so far as the Denisof-Hannigan Kangaroos and the Muhneys ♥

Aug. 27th, 2009 06:45 pm1. I'm playing the new Professor Layton game on Nintendo DS and Luke gets to take care of a hamster for a minigame. The goal is to make the hamster exercise because he's fat. And they ask you to name the hamster. Guess how I called him. HINT.
2. Do you like BSG? And awesome icons? That are funny and pretty? Then go vote atstarttheclock's epic 100th challenge! With categories such as Best powerful/well done death or Character Who Would Have the Best Blog!
3. I made 2 BSG fanvids in 3 days. O_o And I'm quite happy with them. The fact that I kept a lot of episodes as avi even though I have the DVDs and knows the show well enough to remember which scenes are more fitting from which episode makes the process much faster.
4. Scenes from the BSG finale with isolated score. Wow.
5. I took this test pretending I was a character from Lie to Me. Scored a bit above average.
6. The Darjeeling Limited is a great movie. It looks gorgeous and I loved the editing. And the music. Surprise!Joe Dassin! lol
7. Awesome pic of Michael Hogan channeling Saul Tigh, cute Twitpic of Alyson&Jason on the set of HIMYM, amazing LOST poster

Favorite Doctor.
71,4% picked Ten, 28,6% Nine. As predicted. To be fair, we've learned to know and love Ten for 3 seasons and 5 specials so far while poor Nine only got the one season.
Favorite Companion
Donna won with 52,4%! I'm a bit surprised there, I thought it was going to be a tough battle between Donna and Rose but the Temp from Chiswick got more than twice as many votes as the London shop assistant (23,8%). Martha is a little behind with 14,3%.
Favorite Villains
We have a tie! 38,1% for both The Master and The Weeping Angels. I think The Master is well served by his brilliant portrayal by John Simm, while The Weeping Angels got votes because they're really scary. Many DW villains are dangerous but look too ridiculous to be scary. And Blink is a fantastic episode. The classic Daleks came third with 19%.
Favorite Torchwood Team Member
The big trend here is not who people love but who people don't like I think lol. Assuming that Jack & Gwen are the leads... it's a collective win for the secondary characters Owen, Toshiko and Ianto with 23,8% each. Captain Jack is fourth with 19% while Gwen finishes last with 9,5%.
In other news, not much is going on... booked my train tickets to go to Paris in 2 weeks (French Comic Con, for Jamie&Kandyse)... can't stop making icons fortvpassiton... 3xcusemyfrench got a mention in a French magazine (for the BSG itws)... made up with my brother after our argument 2 weeks ago... my dad forgot it was Father's Day until he saw it written on the cake... my mom still hates Gaius Baltar... lol

I have to admit that the new one is droolworthy ♥
Also managed to get an appropriate mood theme by switching to Plus Account and then switching back, neat!
Also changed the profile!

After 3 episodes of CSI :Miami with my parents (including a lost of time making fun of Horatio Caine and his sunglasses), I watched the Meaning of Life again last night. Tee hee it still makes me laugh so much.

Humphrey: All right, settle down. Settle down...
