I'm finally back! I'm sure you missed me! What? Not even a little bit?
Anyway... today is the first day of Winter Term... where are the holidays gone? They were so short!
I had a very nice Xmas, and had fun with friends during the New Year week...
But still didn't receive my RotK EE DVD... The Post office in France told my mother it was supposed to reach my aunt's by the 28th December... Grrr I wanna kill them!
Edit: just talked to my mum... stupid post office employee sent the package in the "slow way" instead of the fast one... so maybe I won't receive it before a month! Maybe for my B-day!
Tonight, I may go to the theater to watch "Un Très Long Dimanche de Fiançailles" (that's "A Very Long Engagement")... I loved "Amélie" so with Jean-Pierre Jeunet as director and Audrey Tautou starring that should be good.

So I spent Xmas with my family in Canada, near Windor (Ontario) and that meant 18 to 25 people in my aunt's house everyday! That was fun, I saw my cousins, I ate, we played games, ate, watched movies, ate and celebrated my aunt and uncle's 25th anniversary. That was funny because in my family, everyone understands English, French and Creole (from Mauritius) but everyone speaks the language he or she prefers and as a result that makes strange conversations. For instance, I talk to my cousin in French, he replies in English and an old Aunt adds something in Creole! Oh and sometimes there are Chinese words too.
And I almost got the chance to watch RotK EE!!! But we didn't have time for it and finally it's nice because I promised two friends to watch it first with them. But I watched many movies during this break:

I didn't like:
-  King Arthur: Yew! That's the Knights of the Round Table??? I don't know well the legend but Xena-Guenievre and Merlin as a woods savage... Sometimes I was wondering if "Holy Grail" was a better adapted version than that!
- Wimbledon: romance without surprises... good when you don't feel like thinking... there was Bernard Hill in it! I giggled when I saw him on the screen.

I liked:
- The Manchurian Candidate: nice conspiracy movie... good acting
- The Day After Tomorrow: good surprise for me because the occidental society is showed as reponsible for the disaster and for once America does not save the world! And there was Ian Holm in it!
- Zatoichi : a movie by Kitano, lots of prizes...  story of a blind samurai...

I loved:
- Love Actually : I love British comedies! Excellent actors, likeable characters, nice stories... I just loved it!

Oh and I went skating. For the second time in my life. Add that to "the things I just can't do" list.

Then I spent a week in downtown Montréal in a house with my friends, that was so much fun! New Year's Eve was very good, with a nice meal and then celebration at the Jacques Cartier Square in Montréal and in pubs close to it.
And on Sunday we celebrated Xmas again! Only with 4 of my friends we organized a little Xmas of our own with gifts and all! So I gave to my LotR friends "The Hobbit" and "The Silmarillion" because they just need to read them! And I had a "So you think you know the Lord of the Rings" book. And then with my two LotR friends we found ourselves locked in a room by the two others! For what purpose? They had prepared a game especially for us with riddles and costumes and tests about LotR and we won a RotK jigsaw book! That was soooo much fun! We were so surprised!

And that's it... a new term begins... maybe the last one of my whole life! And I have to find an intership for May...

Tomorrow is Lostday! Yay! And I'm still spoiler-free!

I'm so sorry for you if you just read all that I wrote... that does not make any sense and is so random...

Totally agree with you about Love Actually. I'm not usually in to romantic movies, but there's just something about British romantic comedies that get me every time...
