Today was pretty cool.

1. LOST season premiere was awesome. I'm more confused than ever but I'm not even trying to make theories, I'm being patient just like Damon told us to be. I cried a few times. (How perfect is this icon?)

2. I received my bday present and couldn't wait until Friday to play with it. So um yes, Beatles Rock Band is like the best video game ever (ok, I'm not a gamer haha). I looooove the Hofner bass replica, it's so pretty. I spent all afternoon playing. First I learned the basic moves with the tutorials of both drums and guitar. I'm not very good at drums ahem. I haven't tried to play real songs with it but my hands/foot coordination is not good. Even my mom thought it was awesome and she tried playing a bit haha. So then I spent hours playing the guitar (easy mode) and played all the songs (omg the introduction and the transitions are so pretty) and it's a bit embarrassing how much I got into it lol. Sometimes I got distracted by what was going on on the screen. When I mess up my guitar solos, I say "sorry, George!". My shoulders and wrists hurt, especially because of I want you (she's so heavy) because this song lasts forever. So to relax my hands I tried the singing part but I was quite confident so I started with the difficult mode. And got 100% on A Hard Day's Night and Can't Buy Me Love!

The reason I stopped playing? Dinner time + my parents are watching the TV now.

Now I need to figure out what my code is to play online with friends. And I need a screen name too? mmm what could it be...

Oh, and I want the additional albums now of course. Damn it. I need to figure out how to dld them too.

I just got Beatles Rock Band (not the full pack, just the game), and I'm enjoying it. Some songs are so unbelievably easy but others are deceptively, and impossibly, difficult. I play both the guitar and drums, but I'm at a Hard-Expert level on the guitar and a Medium-Hard level with the drums. Drums are way, way harder, IMO. It's the hand-foot syncopation that's the most difficult for me.

Are ALL of the songs available in one way or another? I was confused; I thought more would be included. I've unlocked one or two (haven't played it that much) but don't know how much more I can really unlock before I have to start downloading (paying for?) more of the gems.

Sometimes I can't even hit the drum in the center LOL I need to try for real tomorrow. Guitar comes more naturally. I think the only extra song is The End? I got it when I finished the game in story mode (easy guitar LOL). For other songs you need to dld them at the online store (3 albums so far: Rubber Soul, Sgt Pepper, Abbey Road).

IT SO IS. And I'm so happy you finally got to play it :D

Yeah, that's the bad thing about the awesome videos going on while you play :)
I play the drums when I'm playing at le_canard and evilblacksheep's, and I always end up mimicking some of Ringo's moves (especially the way he shakes his head and all XD).
It's totally addictive, right?

I am so jealoussss. :D I saw some of the videos on YouTube and the graphics alone make me want it badly. Not to mention the fact that the game looks like epic amounts of fun.

Oh, LOST...Only one episode into the final season and I've already sobbed, squee'd, and screamed in frustration. Let the mind-frak begin!

UGH, I HATE PLAYING THAT SONG. A COUPLE CHRISTMASES GO BY BEFORE THE THING'S OVER. X_X I love the song, but it's the worst thing to play.

But otherwise YAY!!! Beatles Rock Band is what I play above all else. It was the reason I got a Wii, basically like yourself. ;) And in terms of equipment, I covet my Gretsch above all guitar controllers. I have a Guitar Hero controller as well and I hate having to switch over to it when I play a GH game. *pets the Gretsch*

I can't wait for you and me and Allie to have a band session! =D

I spent hours playing the drums yesterday because my right arm still hurt (the place that the bottom of the guitar touches if that makes sense? isn't it a weird place to hurt?) and it's hard but it's also fun because... you get to hit stuff! haha

I did try the normal mode for the easiest song on guitar and I failed because my pinkie finger is not responding too well for now lol. I need practice! And then my arm hurt so I tried playing bass as a lefty for ~authenticity~. *pets the Höfner*

I know you don't have another guitar to compare it to right now, but I like how the Höfner is actually a bit longer than the Gretsch like a real bass would be! It's cool that they thought of those little details to make it more authentic.

The drums are a lot of fun. I think I'm somewhere in the Medium/Hard range for that. Actually, I played the whole story on drums to get some practice when I first got the game!

The great thing about playing as a band is that each person can pick their own difficulty level, so you can still play with us on Easy if you want, or Medium when you get more comfortable with that. =D It's gonna be so fun, I can't wait!
