H is for How I Met Your Mother



This show's awesome. It makes me laugh and it makes me happy. I love Barney of course. So quotable and awesome. I love Canadian!Robin. I love Marshall&Lily's relationship. I love how Future!Ted makes references to events we'll see later on (like the goat) or when he doesn't remember, or when he lies (the sandwiches), or he can only says what other ppl told him (like when Marshall & Lily got out of their appartment).


I is fo Ianto (and characters of Torchwood in general)



My favorite Torchwood characters are Tosh, Owen and Ianto in that order. (I know, cry moar right?)
And for all three of them it was not love at 1st sight, I grew to love them more and more.
I love Ianto's dedication and his persistence and his one-liners and his suits and his relationship with Jack.
And I love the name Ianto.
And I'm sad.


J is for Jamie Bamber and how delicious he smells



If you know me at all, you know that my BSG boys are Tahmoh & Trucco. But I still think Jamie Bamber's pretty awesome. He's a lovely very articulate man who speaks 2 foreign languages fluently. So it's always a pleasure to meet him (which happened to me five times in less than 2 years lol) and make him speak French hehe.


K is for Kara Thrace



mmm... what's not awesome about Kara Frakkin' Thrace? Let's go with the obvious first: she kicks ass. She saves other people's asses. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have feelings (for her friends, her boyfriend(s), her surrogate family...)... or can't pull off a fancy dress, or cook! She does what she thinks is right and follows her heart but without being all righteous about it.

She's complicated and messed up but so fascinating.

She's my mom's favorite. ^^


L is for Lord of the Rings



Where do I even start? Love the book, and the movies are my favorite movies ever. Love the cast and the friendship they have (my favorites being Dom&Billy, duh). I remember seeing FotR in theaters for the first time and I actually said "wow" during the prologue. I got my only RL nickname from this. I once woke up at 7am to be able to watch all 3 movies in a row with my friends (we had a bday party in the evening). We also used to marathon the extras and DVD commentaries (the reason we don't is because we don't live in the same city/dorm anymore). I own two versions of each movie, and a LOT of memorabilia (too much to list really). My dream vacation spot is New Zealand. I used to moderate a LotR French board (funny story: 2 of the mods got married!).


L is also for London (esp the airport)



I really went to London 3 times. First time was in 1997 with my Canadian uncle&aunt&cousins (their family on the other side had a house we could all stay at), we did all things touristy like The Tower of London or Madame Tussaud's and even went to Stonehenge and Bath. Second time was for New Year 2007, stayed there a few days with my friends. Third time was in September 2007 as benelie and I went to the London Film and Comic Con. And we went to see a musical too (The Sound of Music). All 3 times were awesome.

Technically I went to London a couple more times to go from Waterloo/St Pancras station to Heathrow. And a few more times all I saw was the airport lol. To go to conventions of course. I've gotten quite used to Heathrow and its different terminals, the Thistle Hotel, and the nearby McDonald's. Hehe.


and L is ALSO for LOST season 6 predictions/hopes



I'm actually rewatching season 5 right now! (Sayid just shot little Benry omg.) I'm not someone who likes to make elaborate theories about Lost so I don't really have predictions but I hope we'll get a satisfying ending, answers to the most important questions, and closure with the characters.


M is for Memories I miss the most



I wasn't sure how to answer that... I thought of a few things:
- how my parents, my brother and I used to play board games until late at night (at 1st I was too young so I was in charge of reading the questions). That was fun and maybe the reason why I'm good at trivia&board games now!
- Xmas at our house with my cousins
- my 8 months in Canada with my friends


N is for Nathan Fillion


Hire a Canadian! They're gentlemen and they're very tall. ~ Joss Whedon

He's just one of my favorite famous people ever. I actually found a list I made a while back for a picspam I wanted to make for a challenge entitled "reasons why Nathan Fillion is better than you" (in reference to his Commentary! song).
- he's Captain Mal, aka my favorite character ever
- and he loved being him so much that he tales the chance to talk about it/make references all the time (hellooooo the Halloween episode of Castle)
- he's funny, goofy, and has mad comedy chops
- he can be an evil priest, an OB-GYN who loves pies, a cop, a novelist & a good dad, a cheesy superhero and be awesome at it
- he made me catch up with 2 seasons of Desperate Housewives and watch movies such as White Noise 2 (that also has Katee Sackhoff, win-win!)
- he made Katee Sackhoff quit smoking (her words)
