hobbitofkobolI'm still in a Beatles mood and rewatched A Hard Day's Night last night (which is the only Beatles movie I've seen, and I'm currently trying to obtain the others) and I had a weird dream. I was working at the Chicago Cook County with Dave Malucci (I did catch a couple of old S5 ER episodes on TV last week) and I was on my break and went to buy donuts and I chatted a while with the guy selling them. It was a young George Harrison. LOL.

Again, no particular order. These were not necessarily released in 2009, but I watched/read them for the 1st time in 2009 or listened to them a lot. Maybe I'll edit this list if I see sth awesome before the year is over.

Eric: Don't be ridiculous, okay? The walls are not gonna close in on us.
Harrison Winslow: Who came up with this ridiculous concept anyway? Resolve your entire life in one bold stroke? What if I fail? And I will. I'll fail. I'm telling you. I always fail. Then my whole life will be a complete failure.
Thomas Reilly: No offense, Harrison. But you died a failure because you never tried.
Crash: What's that noise?
Buck: It's the wind. It's speaking to us.
Eddie: What's it saying?
Buck: I don't know. I don't speak wind.
Harvey Milk: All men are created equal. No matter how hard you try, you can never erase those words.
Shilo Wallace: Sometimes I wanted to cry when the people on the TV where not quite the way we where. Somehow I guess I just knew, but I didn't know I'd love you so much.
Jamal Malik: I knew you'd be watching.
Latika: I thought we would meet only in death.
Jamal Malik: This is our destiny.
Latika: Kiss me.
Spock: What if I told you that your transwarp theory was correct, that is is indeed possible to beam onto a ship that is traveling at warp speed?
Scotty: I think if that equation had been discovered, I'd have heard about it.
Spock: The reason you haven't heard of it, Mr. Scott, is because you haven't discovered it yet.
Scotty: Are you from the future?
Kirk: Yeah, he is. I'm not.
Scotty: Well, that's brilliant. Do they still have sandwiches there?
Hanna Schmitz: It doesn't matter what I feel. It doesn't matter what I think. The dead are still dead.
Dug: I hid under your porch because I love you.
Captain: Wait, that doesn't look like Earth. Where's the blue sky? Where's the-the grass?

and I relied on the photoshop guides things to align everything and it doesn't work that well, wtf

my diclaimer "Maybe I'll edit this list if I see sth awesome before the year is over." should be read as "I haven't seen Avatar yet." I'm waiting for my dad to be on vacation as we've decided that this would be perfect for our traditional Xmas Holidays Movie Family Outing ;) So probably this weekend after Xmas or next week.
I've only seen about 50 "new" movies this year and some of them were pretty terrible (nothing else on TV, someone I like's in it...)

Date: 2009-12-22 05:06 pm (UTC)the last time I remember literally saying "wow" in a movie theater was during the opening scene from LotR (btw I think I read that James Cameron realized Avatar was possible when he saw the technology used in the LotR movies so yay)
I miss you too! I've been... a bit of everything really! A bit blue (I just "celebrated" one year of unemployment...), sick (& my computer is kinda sick too mmm), über-excited & happy about things like conventions & concerts (I'm so thankful for having these things to look forward to!)... overall not much
