Just coming back from Sin City... wow... I just loved it!
Yes it's violent (but the black and white makes it less violent), yes it's unusual... but it's really well-filmed and all! The visual environment is so beautiful in a dark way. The Black and white photography, with only a few colors (very well-chosen). And the acting is great! Elijah Wood has a small part, yet important but he's amazing! And Clive Owen is hot. lol
At one point at the beginning, my jaw dropped. Then it stayed like that during the whole movie.


But I'm a bit traumatized... you'll guess it if you saw the movie... how creepy Elijah was! He scared the shit out of me!
And I was also traumatized by the way he dies... with that look on his face with his eyes staring through his glasses and the little smile!
Seeing Elijah with no arms, no legs and eaten by a dog was awful! And then when Marv took his head in his hands! Yew! Ick! Trauma! It was like seeing Dom/Charlie hanging on a tree in Lost!
I may have some nightmares tonight...

i loved Sin City! I love how Kevin can just stare ahead so blankly even when the dog is eating his limb-stumps. slightly unnerving, and now my 2nd favorite Elijah character ever!
