well idk about this new show but USA shows are usually fun (Psych, White Collar...)

as for Castle... I'd rather you have your Nathan Fillion introduction via Firefly.
Watch Firefly & BSG, then you'll want to watch Castle for the Fillion + promises of Trucco at the end of S2, and also Dollhouse has shirtless Tahmoh

I watched the first episode and didn't like it, plus the theme kinda got on my nerves. I know it gets better afterward, but I'd rather give a chance to a show that appeals more to me sooner.

But I didn't know beforehand for Torchwood ;_; I DIDN'T KNOW!

well that's normal, the pilot is shit because FOX asked for a new one, the original is much better

basically episodes 1-5 = the original pilot stretched out! but from episode 6 it's great, and you get to discover awesome actors, especially Dichen Lachman and Enver Gjokaj <3

what bothers you with the theme? I see some people feeling the same way but I don't get it. I don't think it's worse than a show whose hero is a serial killer for instance haha. And it's not like the show says what the Dollhouse does is good. So I'm curious.

Aaah, Fox, why so stupid ALL THE TIME...

No, it bothers me on a personal level. I have issues with boundaries, how to find the right distance with people so as not to let them take too much control over me or have my personality disappearing behind theirs; watching a show with people being completely deprived of their personalities and then filled with a new one when needed and then "recycled" gets to me more than it should, I guess.
Mmm do I make any sense :/?
