I'm in a Whoverse mood and decided to check some Classic Who and watched the first episode of the show ever. You know, season 1, black&white TV, 1963! It's funny how everything is different except the theme song and the TARDIS (and the woosh woosh sound it makes).

Anyway, after my season 4 rewatch I was asking myself who my favorite companion is, and recalled how I initially hated Donna in The Runaway Bride and how I instantly loved her in Partners in Crime. Then I wondered what the trend was among my friends... so here's a poll. And of course I decided to also ask about the Doctors, and villains, and Torchwood lol.

I love both Nine and Ten equally, and I picked Rose because she was my first companion, even though I love Donna something fierce.

I am in a desperate need of a Who rewatch <3

And It's sooooooooooooooooo hard to chose a favorite doctor, I love them both in such a different way! 10 will always be MY doctor, and I'm fairly certain most psychiatrists would be concerned about how much I love David, but whenever I watch S1 (of New Who) it just hits me how much I love 9, too. It's just a different kind of love. If that makes sense.
Totally with you on Donna though, I haaaaaaated her at first and was so worried/annoyed when I heard that she'd come back but then when she did she quickly became one of my favorite characters of all time.

I also can't really chose between the Weeping Angels and the Vashta Nerada. And the Master. And the Carrionites, even thought they're not listen, but I love love love the idea of language and verse having power/"magic" behind it and Shakespeare Code is one of my favorite eps.

oooh the Carrionites! there are so many villains, I couldn't list them all. The Weeping Angels scare the hell out of me.

Your icon makes me saaaaaaaaaaad! Oh Donna *sigh* I love Rose so much and I love Martha too (most of the time), but I just get so fiercely protective and... I don't know, proud of Donna. LOVE.

It certainly wasn't meant as criticism, there's no possible way to include all the Who villains :D And yeees they were probably the first villains on Who to actually really terrify me.

The DoctorDonna for the win! Though I love Nine and Martha and the Daleks too (my favorite villain, that I chose for the poll, is The Master, though). She's just so normal, and brave without being obnoxious, and refuses to let anyone give her crap, even if they're hundreds of years old. That's my kind of woman.

Nobody likes Gwen ._. Well, TWO people ._. She was my second choice, but Jack... well, Jack is Jack. And I loved Owen, but the Owen from the first season (I know, I know, everybody prefers Owen in the second season). And I'm a Rose girl, no matter how much I love Donna (funny, 'cause i HATED her in The Runaway Bride xD). I just love Rose SO MUCH. And I'm a Ten-girl, of course. David Tennant made an awesome doctor =3
