Medicinal carrots

Taking a break from editing my BSG videos (yes, I still have more to upload! if you missed it, I posted the press conference this morning) to post my reaction about the latest episode of Dollhouse.

Ok so I was spoiled about who Alpha was because of a casting spoiler I read that was supposed to be just about Alan Tudyk being on the show and then it said he was Alpha and woops it was supposed to be a twist, too late!

BUT I still enjoyed that part and thanks to Alan's brilliant acting, I actually wondered sometimes if the spoilers were wrong or sth.

So yeah, FANTASTIC acting from Alan. And Enver omg! Victor as Dominic, wowwwwww! And [livejournal.com profile] truffle_shuffle shared a very interesting theory! When Dominic!Victor says "Whiskey" and Claire dismisses this as asking for alcohol, it sounds really weird... could it be that Whiskey is a name like Alpha, Echo, Sierra, etc. for a doll and that doll is Claire? It would totally makes sense that 1. instead of hiring a doctor they use a doll with a medical imprint to avoid ethical issues with a real doctor and 2. Dominic as ex-head of security knows about it! You see him calling for Topher, Adelle and then he says Whiskey looking at Claire!

Back to Alan... so so so funny, some lines are already stuck in my head like "medicinal carrots" or "my arms are chilly". For the record, I would watch a Alan&Tahmoh show lol. Also, seeing these two on screen made me giggle and I said "Wash & Helo! Wash & Helo!"

And then bam! creepy!Alan! WOW I never thought he'd scare me! and what he did to Victor! O_O

so did Alpha had a thing with a specific imprint of Echo? is Alpha a doll that began to integrate his past imprints until he developed his own personality, different from the real person he was? or is he the real person he was? (I mean, like Caroline is Echo's "real person")

I know she's an imprint but Mellie breaks my heart so much :( And part of me still ships Paul/Mellie even though it's doomed because duh, she doesn't really exist. Get over it, self.

ILU Tahmoh but Paul is annoying me right now. Why so obsessed with Caroline? Seriously? Why only save her? Stop with the self-righteousness! There are tons of other innocent people enslaved as dolls in there and you don't seem to worry about them! And it doesn't help that so far I didn't really like what I saw of Caroline. The fight scene with Boyd kicked major ass though, and I wasn't sure who to root for! Because Boyd is awesome. Though yes, if you're so awesome, why are you working for the Dollhouse in the 1st place?

Not enough Sierra!

Topher said "frakked up"! Not surprising when you know Jane Espenson wrote this episode haha.

DEAR LORDS OF TV RENEW THIS SHOW PLZ. AND CHUCK. AND CASTLE, FOR THE NATHAN GOODNESS. AND BETTER OFF TED.

Oooh. I love that theory of Whiskey. I so did not put that together as a possibility. and I think that is an excellent possibility.

Yeah me too. The casting news came out soooo long ago, I thought that maybe Alpha was rather fan speculation and Alan might just plays a different part.

About Whisky. Yeah, the way Alan asked her if she ALWAYS wanted to be Doctor makes me think she's also a doll.

And yeah, Paul's obsession was pretty annoying. Although he knows Mellie is just an inprint, that's no reason to say "Ehm, sorry, doll. WHERE IS CAROLINE!" Seriously, he slept with her...

The Wash&Helo show! Squee! :-)

But yes, Alpha had me laughing, and then cringing in horror.

I thought the same thing about Whiskey, although I didn't notice who he was looking at.

I didn't think I could hate Paul, but what he's doing to Mellie is pushing me strongly in that direction. I don't care that she's not "real", she's the one I'm rooting for in that relationship. I mean, it's good that Paul's smart and not totally led astray by emotions, but...*sigh* I also hate the Dollhouse for forcing Mellie to be self-destructive and passive like that. Poor thing.
