She repeats it and he says that yes, he was actually in France until 5am that very day. When he goes there he tries to practice the language but he's forgotten so much (note from me: FALSE. His vocabulary and grammar and accent are SO good), that words fail him. He says that he doesn't read much in French now but he used to read a lot when he was a student. Same goes for Italian. He has a passion for languages.
